11 DAYS AMBOSELI – OL PEJETA – SAMBURU – LAKE BARINGO – LAKE NAKURU AND MASAI MARA

Depart Nairobi City in the morning and drive south to the plains below Mount Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated, arriving in time for lunch. This park is famous for the great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa as well as large populations of elephants. Afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After a leisurely breakfast, we explore the park through morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy a relaxing time at the lodge/camp as you experience the different facilities. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Enjoy a game viewing drive en route to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts of a large variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the rare endangered black rhino, Somali ostrich, grevy zebra, beisa oryx among others. Meals and overnight at the lodge/camp.

After breakfast we proceed further north across the Equator to the Samburu National Park. Lunch and afternoon game drive, then spend the rest of the day relaxing and leisurely exploring the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

The whole day will be spent relaxing and leisurely exploring the Samburu National Reserve with  the morning and afternoon game drives. You may opt to do some of the activities offered at the lodges at an extra cost.

Enjoy early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve and then we depart for the shallow soda Lake Bogoria and later to the beautiful Lake Baringo where you will enjoy the pleasure of an evening bird walk.

Enjoy a morning boat ride in search of hippo, crocodile, and fish eagle. After a sumptuous lunch, we then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive.

After an early breakfast we depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. We then proceed on an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for a sun downer then we have dinner at the lodge or luxury tented camp.

After breakfast, take a morning game drive in this vast Savannah grassland looking for the big five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhinocerous) and other plains game. This day shall be spent enjoying game viewing drives in the early morning hours and in the evenings as this is when we have the best chances of seeing wildlife. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October. A visit to the Mara River to see the hippos and crocodiles, that co-exists in the same water. This is the natural migration bridge of the wildebeest and Zebras on their way from the Tanzania Serengeti National Park into the Kenyan Maasai Mara.  Return to the lodge/camp for lunch (unless you are doing a full day safari, where you will have picnic lunch while on safari) and relaxation as you enjoy the hotel facilities. Embark on an afternoon safari in search of more wildlife and birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp. 

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to the Maasai Village to learn about some of the cultural practices of the Maasai community including making fire using sticks, dances among others. Continue on your journey back to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch and a brief relaxation moment en route.  On arrival in Nairobi, drop off at the pick-up point or any other agreed spot.
