Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi

We will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Check in at the beautiful hotel and relax from your long journey, as you accustom to the relaxing Nairobi ambience. Meals and overnight at the hotel. 

Day 2: Nairobi – Aberdares

Leave Nairobi at 0730 hours for Nyeri town from where you enter the Aberdares ranges region to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge/camp. Take an afternoon game drive at the Aberdares National park. You will have dinner and over night at the lodge/ camp.

After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop at the Equator and Thompson Falls, arriving in Nakuru in time for lunch at lodge /camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park with a visit to Baboon Cliff.  Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 4: Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.  A brief relaxation and then embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 5: Maasai Mara

Take a morning and afternoon game drive in this vast savannah grassland looking for the big five (elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and other plains game). A visit to the Mara River will give you a wonderful opportunity to see the hippos and crocodiles, that co-exist in the same water.

This is the natural migration bridge of the wildebeest and zebras on their way from the Tanzania Serengeti National Park into Kenya’s Maasai Mara.  Picnic lunch at the Mara River. Later dinner and overnight at the camp /lodge.  

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Naivasha

After a short rest, take an optional boat ride around the lake or visit Hells Gate National Park. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight. 

Day 7: Naivasha- Amboseli

At 0800hrs, leave Naivasha for Amboseli National Park. Have a brief stop along the way for lunch then drive south through Maasai country via Namanga on the Tanzanian border. On arrival at Amboseli National Park, embark on an afternoon game drive between 1600 hours and 1830 hours in search of rhinos, lions, giraffe, elephants and many other species. Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain provides a beautiful back drop from this park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp.

Day 8: Amboseli

Have a pre-breakfast game drive between 0630 hours and 0800 hours in this park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty then return to the camp for breakfast.

After breakfast, visit the Maasai village (at an extra fee) or take a nature walk. Lunch at the lodge/camp, followed by an afternoon game drive between 1530 hours and 1830hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 9: Amboseli – Tsavo East

After breakfast, take a morning game drive after which you will proceed to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch. This park has large herds of elephants, the famous man eating lions (during the building of the Kenya/Uganda Railway in 1890) and other species of wildlife.

It is in this park that you will also find the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest larva flow. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 Day 10: Tsavo East – Mombasa

12-Day Amboseli & Tsavo East National Parks, Maasai Mara, and Beach Safari After breakfast, leave for the enchanting Kenyan Coast arriving in Mombasa between 1330 hours and 1400 hours then drive down to the South Coast, Diani.

Check in at your hotel and enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Spend the rest of your day at the hotel exploring the beautiful Diani Beach at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Diani

After breakfast enjoy the morning in the hotel enjoying the facilities. Later on, leave for a full day trip to Wasini Island where you will spend the day snookering and swimming with the dolphins. Sail to Kisite marine national park where you will snorkel and swim.

Kisite Marine national park is the second most famous marine park in the world after the Australian Marine Park. It covers an area of 30km. Animals seen here include turtles, marine tortoise, bear reefs, coral reefs and different types of marine fishes.

Alternatively you talk to the sports centre to organize for you any other type of activity that you may be interested in participating in while at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: South Coast – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Nairobi. You will have lunch at a local restaurant en route and later on be dropped off at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight back home or at any agreed point.
