Itineraries
Day 1
Nairobi
We will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Check in at the beautiful hotel and relax from your long journey, as you accustom to the relaxing Nairobi ambience. An optional city tour walk. Meals and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Nairobi City - Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi City in the morning and drive south to the plains below Mount Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated, arriving in time for lunch. This park is famous for the great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa as well as large populations of elephants, Afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Amboseli National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, we explore the park through morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy a relaxing time at the lodge/camp as you experience the different facilities. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 4
Amboseli – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Enjoy a game viewing drive en route to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts of a large variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the rare endangered black rhino, Somali ostrich, grevy zebra, beisa oryx among others. Meals and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Day 5
Ol Pejeta - Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast we proceed further north across the Equator to the Samburu National Park. Lunch and afternoon game drive, then spend the rest of the day relaxing and leisurely exploring the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Samburu National Reserve
The whole day will be spent relaxing and leisurely exploring the Samburu National Reserve with the morning and afternoon game drives. You may opt to do some of the activities offered at the lodges at an extra cost.
Day 7
Samburu National Reserve – Lake Bogoria - Lake Baringo
Enjoy early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve and then we depart for the shallow soda Lake Bogoria and later to the beautiful Lake Baringo where you will enjoy the pleasure of an evening bird walk.
Day 8
Lake Baringo –Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy a morning boat ride in search of hippo, crocodile, and fish eagle. After a sumptuous lunch, we then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive.
Day 9: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After an early breakfast we depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. We then proceed on an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for a sun downer then we have dinner at the lodge or luxury tented camp.
Day 9
Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, embark on a game drive at the park. Lake Nakuru’s catchment is bounded by the Menengai crater to the North. Depart for the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the lodge/ camp. A brief relaxation after lunch, then embark on an extensive afternoon game drive in search of black manned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos and other plain games. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10
Masai Mara Game Reserve
The next two days shall be spent enjoying game viewing drives in the early morning hours and in the evenings as this is when we have the best chances of seeing wildlife. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.
Day 11
Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
After a final early morning game drive we depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
You will be dropped at your residence/ hotel or airport for your flight back home marking the end of your safari.
